Ports of Entry and Exit

Ports of Entry and Exit

Materials created by the UK government to communicate information on new quarantine and testing requirements for all international arrivals.

These are intended to ensure inbound travellers (UK and International) check the new rules on hotel and home quarantine and testing before they travel to the UK.

Anyone entering the UK from 15 February must book a quarantine and testing package before they travel if they have travelled in a red list country in the past ten days.

Only those with residence rights will be allowed entry if they have travelled to a red list country in the past 10 days.

Everyone else must now book a testing package of 2 COVID-19 tests to use on their return during their home quarantine period of 10 days, at days 2 and 8.

Information on how to book the quarantine package and the testing package and the list of banned (red list) countries can be found at www.gov.uk/coronavirus

Changes have been made to the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) to record details of the quarantine and testing booking. Individuals are subject to a £10,000 fine and imprisonment for knowingly filling out the form incorrectly. All travellers must complete the PLF before travelling to the UK.
